Responsibilities
- Communicate with master schedulers to define material planning strategies.
- Monitor material needed to support programs according to Army regulations.
- Determine purchasing methods for materials to accomplish projects.
- Conduct root analysis of material shortages according to Army procedures.
- Utilize automated programs such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) according to guidelines.
Requirements
- Three years progressively responsible experience, including 1 year equivalent to GS-04 level, identifying parts and materials for fabrication projects.
- Experience researching supply data such as manufacturer's catalogs and cross-references listings.
- A four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
- Combination of education and experience may be used to qualify, with a total of 100% required.
