About the position

The Maintenance Mechanic A at Harvest Hill Beverage Company is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment within the plant. This role requires a high level of technical skill and the ability to work independently without supervision, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions down to circuit board level.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to a 'like new' state when required.
• Work unassisted and unsupervised to job completion in a timely and proficient manner.
• Maintain or exceed speed and efficiency while improving quality of work.
• Install and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts.
• Operate mechanical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs.
• Care for and use hand tools in the repair of equipment and structures.
• Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs.
• Perform all general preventative maintenance duties such as greasing and oiling.
• Identify issues that cannot be rectified and communicate them promptly to the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

• Possess electrical competency to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Excellent technical and critical thinking skills.
• Well versed in a broad spectrum of trades.
• Must provide own hand tools and tool box.
