About the position

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be at the helm of our maintenance and facility support activities, steering a culture of safety and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility's maintenance program, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality maintenance services that support our client's operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead up to 50 technicians and 4 leaders and direct all maintenance and facility support activities and employee development.
  • Ensure 'Safety First' program excellence and ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee policy implementation, budget preparation, cost control, and profit and loss responsibility for the facility.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics records, ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer policies.
  • Interact with customer and client personnel to determine and act upon customer/client expectations.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in maintenance management, with a proven track record in supervision, planning/scheduling, and estimating.
  • Extensive experience in Predictive and Preventative Maintenance of Conveyor Systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS).
  • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate client needs and availability to provide 24/7 on call support.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with conveyor systems and robotic maintenance management preferred.
  • Membership and demonstrated active participation in industry related professional organizations (SMRP, IFMA, etc.) with applicable professional certification is desired.
