About The Position
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Maintenance Employee at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, WA. Requirements
- Ability to perform essential physical tasks associated with groundskeeping and facility maintenance, including operating equipment, lifting and moving materials, and performing activities such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
Nice To Haves
- High school or equivalent education preferred
- 6 + months of experience in grounds keeping preferred
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains the facility, performs minor repairs, painting, etc.
- Vehicle and equipment washing/cleaning
- Cuts grass.
- Maintains lawn and trims around trees, walkways, and memorial markers
- Blows leaf and grass
- Edges with stick edger
- Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
- Cleans ponds and fountains
- Hand digs/trenching
- Pressure washing parking areas as needed
