About The Position

In this position, you will support both the Maintenance Departments and the Environmental/Health & Safety (EHS) Team across Martin’s Fort Worth Facility. You will play a key role in ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly, parts arrive on time, vendors are properly coordinated, and compliance activities are executed efficiently. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-focused, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (clear, concise, professional).
  • Excellent organizational habits with the ability to follow processes and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented; able to notice inconsistencies, errors, or missing information (“find the fly in the soup”).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
  • Basic understanding of technical documents (manuals, SDSs, inspection reports).
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, complete logs, and manage documentation.
  • Comfortable interacting with vendors, technicians, and other plant personnel.
  • Ability to manage calendars, schedule services, prepare agendas, and communicate changes.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, warehousing, or facility coordination.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems, purchase order systems, or inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize maintenance parts inventory; track stock levels and reorder materials proactively.
  • Generate purchase orders, source quotes, and order parts and supplies for maintenance and facility needs.
  • Track inbound shipments, follow up with vendors on lead times, and ensure parts arrive on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical records of parts, warranties, manuals, and certifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service providers and contractors.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance, service calls, calibration visits, and machine repairs with external vendors.
  • Coordinate plant access, confirm scope of work, and ensure required paperwork is completed.
  • Communicate with maintenance technicians to align service timing with production priorities.
  • Assist in developing and updating the preventive maintenance calendar.
  • Maintain asset files, service logs, repair histories, and downtime tracking.
  • Help prepare weekly maintenance reports and KPIs.
  • Submit, track, and close work orders in the CMMS (or assist in implementing one).
  • Support maintenance leadership with general administrative tasks, project preparation, and documentation.
  • Work with the Corporate Safety team and plant leadership to implement environmental compliance objectives.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and facility walk-throughs; record findings and assist in corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental reports, logs, and documentation.
  • Maintain hazardous waste manifests and compliance binders.
  • Support incident investigations through data collection, documentation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Assist with safety training sessions, orientations, and communications.
  • Help coordinate contractor safety requirements, hot work permits, LOTO tags, and related compliance needs.
