The Maintenance Director oversees the Community safety program, ensuring a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations. This role sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain the proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The Director hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services. Responsibilities include mechanical repair, replacement, and/or installation of minor equipment, hardware, and controls, as well as maintaining water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment, and associated equipment. The role also involves maintaining community plumbing systems, completing all maintenance requests efficiently, conducting inventory of chemical supplies, implementing safety protocols, performing exterior maintenance, and delivering fire and disaster education. A key aspect of this role is engaging with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, fostering a supportive environment.
