About the position
The Maintenance Director at Fountain Circle Care & Rehab Center is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring that all equipment, utilities, and property grounds are well-maintained in compliance with facility policies and regulations. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for residents and stakeholders by maintaining a safe and functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and utilities are in good working order.
- Maintain property grounds in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
- Supervise maintenance staff and manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of facility equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and facility physical plant upkeep.
- One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in healthcare facility maintenance is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
