About the position
The ISO Machine Technician at GAF is responsible for producing high-quality commercial roofing products through efficient manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational excellence, requiring the technician to be familiar with the foam making process and associated equipment. The position operates on a night shift schedule and involves various rotating duties to ensure continuous production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Produce high quality products on a consistent basis
- Generate timely, consistent reports
- Communicate positively and effectively with other production operators and leaders
- Assure all activities are performed safely
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, safety practices and procedures preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Google suite
