About The Position
We are seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Calera, AL. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring machine performance, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or machine operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
Requirements
- Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment
- Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operational issues
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines
- Inspect products to ensure quality specifications are met
- Record production information and complete required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards, and company policies
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production delays to supervisors
- Assist with changeovers, line setups, and general production duties as needed
- Meet daily production goals and maintain efficiency standards
