Requirements

• Experience operating and maintaining industrial portioning and packaging machines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data entry, tracking, and reporting
• Strong numerical skills with experience in inventory management and stock control
• Solid understanding of allergen segregation and food safety compliance
• Clear, articulate communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic team player who practices professionalism and understanding in all interactions
• Reliable and dependable, showing up for all scheduled shifts on time and ready to work.
• Self-starter, comfortable owning a task from start to finish and taking initiative for process improvements.
• Adaptable, thriving in a changing environment and able to pivot direction easily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package food items according to weekly recipe specifications with the use and operation of specific single use packaging portioning machines
• Set up and maintain the packaging machines in safe, clean and good operating condition
• Work in a safe manner and to assist in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility
• Perform end-of-shift cleanup and the proper staging of finished products
• Operate and maintain industrial portioning and packaging machines in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime
