About The Position
In TD Fab, we create and prepare the components used in assembly by our customers in Custom Shop, Specialty, and of course Terrace Door. Partnerships are key as we work together, with other departments and shifts, as well as within our own department, where our operators have experience on the different types of equipment throughout TD Fab.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Mechanically inclined
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workload
- Basic math skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, and take and interpret measurements
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs repeatedly
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment according to safe operating procedures
- Ensure components are within tolerances, meeting specifications and quality standards
- Ensure work area is kept clean and free of safety hazards
- Ensure equipment is operating efficiently
- Identify, address, and communicate all possible situations regarding production, quality, personnel, and safety to leadership
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Flex and cross train as required
