About The Position

This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies. The Machine Operator will be responsible for inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying the supervisor immediately of any issues. They will follow work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process, understanding and communicating paperwork and labels/picking lists. The operator will also set up and operate a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges.

Requirements

• CMS, CNC, Hand Fab, or Polish Machine Operator experience.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity).
