Machine Operator - Mixer/Blender - Second Shift
About The Position
The Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, specializes in customized electrical insulation products. With 12 global facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a Machine Operator – Mixer/Blender to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the steps related to the manufacture of thermoset composite materials by operating manufacturing equipment that includes presses, forming, extrusion, pultrusion and/or shape machines. Duties also involve manual work and duties that require the use of various hand tools and secondary/accessory equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry with mixing, batching or compounding equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Compound and process ingredients according to formulas.
- Mix and blend ingredients to create state of the art electrical insulating products.
- Use a variety of hand tools and secondary/accessory equipment.
