About The Position

Shenandoah Furniture, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation, is seeking a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join their team in Valdese, NC, as a Machine Operator - CNC Router. This role involves operating machines according to standard operating procedures, accurately recording production information (potentially using an RF scanner or computer), and performing inspections of parts for issues and defects, with the ability to repair them if possible. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. safely, and at times more during group lifts, and the capacity to work well both individually and in a team setting while standing for up to 9 hours per day.

Requirements

• At least one year of CNC routing experience.
• Possess computer skills.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Ability to remain on your feet in an upright position.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Accurately record production information, potentially using an RF scanner or computer.
• Complete inspections of parts for issues and defects and repairing if able.
• Lift 50 lbs. safely and at times more while performing group lifts.
• Work well both individually and in a team setting.
• Stand for up to 9 hours per day.
