About the position
The Machine Inspection Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for conducting full machine inspections for Retail and Small Core customers in the Southwest Louisiana region. This position emphasizes preventative maintenance services to minimize breakdown risks and enhance customer satisfaction. The specialist will generate detailed reports, communicate findings directly with customers, and operate heavy equipment as part of the inspection process.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed full machine inspections including undercarriages and inspections for rebuilds
- Generate comprehensive reports for each inspection, providing clear and concise information
- Recommend preventative maintenance services to customers to reduce the risk of breakdowns
- Communicate inspection results directly with customers and Product Support Sales Representatives
- Operate heavy equipment to access performance and functionality
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to inspections
