About the position
The Machine Assistant position at CPI Card Group involves supporting the Machine Operator in a light manufacturing environment. The role is essential for ensuring the quality of products and maintaining an efficient workflow. The position offers regular shifts in a clean, temperature-controlled setting, with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and visually inspect cards as they come out of the machine.
- Watch the computer for flagged rejects.
- Quickly keep products in sequenced order as remakes occur.
- Set up workstation and create boxes and trays for products to be packed in.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- High aptitude for number sequencing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good hand and arm dexterity & hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to stay intensely focused for long periods of time.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills.
