Services include emergency services and freestanding emergency department, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke, sleep medicine, urology and wound care. Responsibilities

  • Attend the hiring event at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Main Lobby.
  • Apply in advance and attach your resume for expedited hiring.
  • Bring a copy of your resume to the event.
  • Consider all available positions including RN's, Tech's, Surgical Techs, CNA's, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping, and more.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurses must be graduates of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
  • Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
  • All Nursing Units require ACLS as of start date (New graduate RN's have 90 days from start date).
  • CNA's must have a Certified Nursing Assistant License and BLS.
  • OR/Surgical Techs should have 1 year of surgical technologist experience, preferred, and BLS.
  • Kitchen staff must have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Housekeeping staff must have a High School diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience, preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Food Handler or ServSafe certification for cooks.
  • Successful completion of Step One of the Certified Dietary Manager course for Food Service Workers.
  • Prior housekeeping experience for Environmental Services.
