About the position
The LVN Shift Care Home Health position involves providing personalized care to pediatric patients with G-tube and trach needs in their homes. The role requires working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on treatment, medication administration, safety supervision, and effective communication with healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions. The position offers flexible scheduling with evening and weekend shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment and medication to pediatric patients.
- Ensure safety supervision during care.
- Document assessments and interventions accurately.
- Communicate changes in the patient's condition to the physician and RN.
- Work 1:1 with patients in their home environment.
Requirements
- Current and valid Vocational Nurse License (LVN) from the State of California.
- One year of paid experience as an LVN.
- Current TB test, CPR Certification, and physical (within the last six months).
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with G-Tube and Trach care.
- Experience in Pediatrics.
