About the position
The Licensed Nurse (LVN) at Kisco Senior Living provides exemplary nursing services to residents in a part-time capacity. This role focuses on assessing residents' needs, monitoring their well-being, and delivering care under the direction of the Assisted Living Director. Responsibilities
- Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs
- Monitor residents' well-being and report any changes in condition
- Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
- Assist with Medication Management Program
- Assist with care plans
- Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
- Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program
- Minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting
- Current active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of practice (LVN/RN/LPN)
- Experience in Assisted living and/or dementia care (preferred)
