• Keeps department supervisor and staff informed of any changes in the residents' status and maintains accurate reporting and documentation according to the policies set forth by the facility.
• Maintains a clean working environment in the nursing department.
• Coordinates nursing efforts to work with staff in other departments.
• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisors.
• Conducts diabetic checks, blood pressure monitoring, and mild wound care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of California.
• Current CPR certification and update as needed.
• Mid-level LPN experience with acute care hospital experience.
• Possess problem-solving, leadership, and supervisory abilities.
• Good visual and accurate acuity to detect changes in residents' condition.
• Emotional stability and maturity with effective communication skills.
