About the position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides nursing assistance to the ambulatory programs of a division including management of patient flow, patient intake, and maintenance of clinic facilities. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient flow in the ambulatory programs.
- Assist with patient intake processes.
- Maintain clinic facilities and ensure they are well-organized.
- Follow policies and procedures for handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
Requirements
- 1+ year pediatric nursing experience, preferred.
- Organizational skills.
- Completed licensed vocational nurse program.
- Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California.
- Current AHA CPR card.
Nice-to-haves
- IV certificate from the California state board.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
