About the position

The Luxury Beauty Advisor (LBA) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales in Luxury brands by engaging guests to understand their individual needs and assisting them in selecting and purchasing merchandise. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, product knowledge, and maintaining store standards while supporting the Experience Manager in achieving sales and service goals.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in Luxury brands by engaging guests and assisting in merchandise selection.
• Meet or exceed sales and clientele goals for Luxury brands and contribute to overall store goals.
• Provide exceptional guest service by personalizing interactions and informing guests of promotions and events.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance the guest experience.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards in the Luxury brand area and throughout the store.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.
• Collaborate with team members and brand partners to grow the business and resolve guest concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by applicable state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle guest concerns positively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
