About the position
The LPN/RN position at People Incorporated is a part-time role focused on providing compassionate care to medically involved individuals in a supported home environment. The role involves implementing structured routines, facilitating family visitations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents through various support programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide a structured routine for residents, including house meetings and individual outings.
- Assist with meal preparation and activities of daily living (ADL) care.
- Facilitate family visitations and distribute medication while maintaining human rights.
- Implement Positive Behavior Support and Individual programs as outlined in Individual Service Plans.
- Utilize de-escalation and crisis management techniques when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid MA state LPN or RN license.
- Qualifying criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license.
- TB screening and physical upon hire, with TB updates every two years.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a residential care setting.
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support techniques.
