About the position
The position involves providing exceptional homecare services to children with lifelong health conditions, specifically focusing on pediatric and young adult private duty homecare. Nurses will work night shifts, primarily caring for a 9-year-old boy with a G-Tube and Bipap, ensuring high-quality one-on-one care in the comfort of the patient's home. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships with patients and following tailored care plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Follow the individualized plan of care for each patient.
- Develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
- Ensure the highest level of care for children with complex medical needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
- Licensed as a LPN or RN
- CPR certification required
- Clear background screening
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with G-Tubes and Bipap preferred
