About the position
At MGA Homecare, we are looking for compassionate LPNs and RNs to deliver essential healthcare services in the comfort of our patients' homes. Your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will support the overall well-being of our patients and their families. By providing high-quality home healthcare, we enhance the lives of our patients by addressing their health-related needs in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Follow care plans from physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion.
- Record all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care accurately.
- Teach patients and families about disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina or Compact LPN or RN License in good standing (required).
- Previous pediatric, home health, or public health experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Current BLS and negative TB test.
Nice-to-haves
- G-Tube, trach, & vent experience preferred.
