About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Life Care Center of Casper is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients. This role involves monitoring patient conditions, providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and ensuring that patients achieve the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The LPN will work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient care and contribute to the overall mission of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition.
- Assign duties and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State with an active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with current certification maintained during employment.
