About the position
ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment of those addicted to opiates. Our clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient services through medication-assisted treatment. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Sets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication.
- Monitors medication inventory and reports to charge nurses.
- Reconciles inventory of Methadone and Suboxone at conclusion of dosing.
- Signs and processes physician orders. Enters notes and inputs flags as per physician orders.
- Processes phase change requests.
- Participates on Treatment team and regular Medical Meetings as per Licensure standards.
- Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in PA.
- Some understanding of substance abuse.
- Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Successful completion of State required background check and required training.
