About the position
The LPN position at Thrive Senior Living involves providing nursing care during the 3rd shift, focusing on the well-being of residents in accordance with established standards and policies. The role emphasizes leadership in nursing care, training staff, and ensuring accurate documentation, all while fostering a supportive environment for residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct nursing care for residents.
- Serve as the point person for residents and their families on the assigned unit.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation by CNAs and RMAs, providing 1:1 training as needed.
- Perform administrative duties including completing medical reports, evaluations, and charting.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered LPN license to practice in the state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program, college, or university.
- Current CPR certification.
- Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
