About the position
A friendly family in South Norwalk, CT, is seeking a loving and collaborative full-time nanny for their newborn daughter and three-year-old son. The role primarily involves caring for the newborn while the older child is in school. The ideal candidate should have experience with infants, be proactive, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for a newborn girl and occasionally for a three-year-old boy.
- Prepare meals and wash bottles for the children.
- Handle children's laundry and sanitize toys.
- Plan developmentally appropriate activities for the newborn.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children.
- Engage in local activities and outings with the children.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- CPR/First Aid certified.
- Current on COVID, flu, and TDAP vaccines.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with newborns/infants is required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
