About The Position

TJX Canada is seeking a Loss Prevention Home Office Security Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for promoting a safe workplace by acting as a first responder during on-site incidents and overseeing daily security operations. The coordinator will liaise with vendors to ensure mission-critical systems are operational and provide frontline guidance to security guards and external agencies, ultimately ensuring the safety and security of the Home Office grounds.

Requirements

Perform effectively in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with internal and external partners
Implement and manage details, prioritize tasks, time manage, and multi-task with limited supervision, even under time pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to read, write, communicate, and interpret information accurately
Ability to influence, engage, and present to all levels of leadership
Candidates aged 18 and over will be required to undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities

Promote a safe workplace by maintaining an active role (first responder) in crisis management during any on-site incident
Responsible for monitoring day to day Home Office security operations
Ensure policies are followed and provide frontline guidance to security guards, vendors, and external agencies
Liaison with Vendors of mission critical assets and infrastructure (Access Control, CCTV etc.) to ensure the system is fully operational
Ensure security guards frequently patrol and monitor Home Office grounds (interior/exterior)
Oversee daily use and administration of the access control system for Associates, Visitors, and Vendors
