About the position
ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year to provide support for a K-12th grade caseload in the Longmeadow, Massachusetts area. The role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence. Candidates with school-based experience are preferred, but all qualified SLPs are encouraged to apply. The position starts ASAP and involves working directly with students in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12th grade students.
- Assess and evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication.
- Massachusetts SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Minimum of 1 year of speech therapy experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.
