Logistics Technician- 1st Shift East Park
About The Position
The Logistics Technician is responsible for various warehouse and logistics operations, including packaging, transporting, loading, and securing materials for outbound shipment, as well as unloading and delivering incoming materials. This role also involves preparing and managing shipping and receiving paperwork, performing special wire cuts, and operating equipment like forklifts and tow motors safely. The technician will utilize basic computer systems for inventory tracking and data entry, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with company safety standards and quality guidelines. Additional assignments may be requested by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- Valid forklift/tow motor operator license or certification.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., data entry, inventory software).
- Ability to push, pull, climb steps, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Physically able to lift and move heavy materials as required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Package, transport, load, and secure materials for outbound shipment.
