Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
- Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers.
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
- Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience.
- 1+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
Nice-to-haves
- WMS/IMS proficiency.
- Familiar with using a computerized inventory system.
- Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
