About The Position

This role involves working with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the proper flow and shipping of outbound material. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for processing shipping requests, managing orders, and acting as a liaison between the sales force and warehouse shipping needs. The position also requires collaboration with team members to evaluate and implement processes and procedures, along with any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills – proper use of company issued devices
  • Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
  • Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates

Nice To Haves

  • Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • At least 1 years of experience in similar position preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process Requests for Shipping
  • Process picking slips for jobs to be packed/Stock requisitions to be pulled
  • Manage Orders Actions
  • Monitor and facilitate Charlotte Warehouse email requests
  • Maintain shipment management to ensure shipments are completed
  • Manage POD application
  • Initiate Shipment within app
  • Help manage and maintain Cook and Boardman fleet
  • Print Barcodes for QA
  • Verify Signatures and make corrections when necessary
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to be liaison between Sales force and warehouse shipping needs
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate/implement process and procedures
  • Any other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager
  • Other relative duties as assigned
