About the position
This locum tenens position is for a Board-certified or Board-eligible Outpatient Family or Internal Medicine Physician in Littleton, New Hampshire. The role involves working in a well-established practice that has been serving the Grafton community for over a century, providing the opportunity to quickly build a patient caseload. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts during weekdays, with either Monday or Friday off, and a call rotation of 1:4, primarily via phone.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to patients in a family or internal medicine setting.
- Manage a caseload of 15-20 patients daily, with appointments lasting 20-40 minutes.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:4, handling phone calls only as a Hospitalist team manages admissions.
- Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records (EMR).
Requirements
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Current New Hampshire medical license.
- DEA certification.
