About the position

The Lockbox Remittance Specialist is responsible for servicing all commercial lockbox services, ensuring accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customer lockbox deposits. This role involves operating machinery, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality of customer information while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate OPEX Eagle Machine for most of the day, requiring the ability to remain standing.
• Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.
• Sort, open, and process batches of work as required.
• Process any corrections related to lockbox deposits.
• Receive and answer customer inquiries regarding lockbox services in a timely manner.
• Bill each customer monthly according to the services provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and follow established policies and procedures.
• Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year previous retail banking or lockbox experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
