Local Shuttle Driver
About The Position
As our Local Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods between our warehouse and manufacturing plant in LaVergne, Tennessee. Specifically, this will include inspecting equipment, properly placarding equipment, maintaining shipping paperwork and delivery documentation, weighing and ensuring proper cleaning of tankers and trucks, verifying trailers and tankers are properly secured for loading and unloading, moving tankers and truckloads of material safely over the road in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements, communicating with production and shipping on scheduling, assisting with warehouse material moves as needed, and other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL
- Tanker and hazmat endorsements
- Valid DOT medical certificate
- At least 2 years' commercial driving experience
- Acceptable driving history
- Any additional qualifications required by the DOT
