About the position
Opulent Transport is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Class A CDL drivers for the Amazon Freight Partner Program based in Houston, TX. This role involves delivering goods using Amazon equipment and technology on daily local routes, ensuring timely deliveries while allowing drivers to return home after each shift. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with a focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods using Amazon equipment and technology on daily local routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders, large or small.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Effectively learn and operate GPS and handheld technology.
- Communicate effectively in English with the general public and on reports.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Must successfully pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with drop and hook deliveries.
- Familiarity with handheld technology and smartphone applications.
