Local Beer Delivery Driver - Greater Rock Hill Area
About The Position
Our well-respected, family-owned and operated company is growing, and we are looking for responsible drivers to distribute beer and other beverages promptly to our customers. Ideal candidates will represent our company in a professional manner, aiming for efficient service while ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction. Depending on experience and availability, specific driver roles could be route relief or a dedicated route. Our driver positions are fast-paced and physically demanding. The ability to work independently, yet function as a team is vital. Advancement in the company is possible if expectations are consistently exceeded.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school degree or equivalent
- Neat appearance
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a drug screening and a background check
- Valid driver's license is required
- Class A CDL license (or permit) is HIGHLY PREFERRED, but we will assist and train the right candidate in obtaining their South Carolina CDL (Candidates must be a South Carolina resident to be eligible for our internal CDL training program.)
- Must be able to produce a clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Excellent work ethic
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver is ideal, but not necessary
- Ability to use handheld devices, read, count, communicate via email, and complete daily reports.
- The ability to count, add, and submit reports at the end of each shift
- Willingness to wear a uniform and work both inside and outside in all kinds of weather
- Willingness to work before, during, and after holidays
- The ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, team-player attitude
- Must be willing to serve all of our customers equally and always display a professional demeanor
- Must have the ability to successfully complete a drug screening and background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required

Responsibilities
- Deliver beer and non-alcoholic beverages to our local customers following different routes
- Break down pallets and use hand truck to deliver beverages
- Rotate and restock shelves, coolers, displays, and backrooms
- Provide excellent customer service while representing our brands and our organization with loyalty and pride
- Prepare invoices, collect payments, record transactions, count funds, calculate totals, and complete reports at the end of the shift
- Work at a fast and efficient pace each and every day
- Perform truck inspections and truck inventory counts at day start and day end
- Keep vehicle clean inside and out
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
