About the position
The Hotel Lobby Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests at Highgate Hotels, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role involves greeting guests, assisting with their needs, providing information about the hotel and local area, and coordinating with the front desk for a smooth check-in process.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon their arrival
- Assist guests with their luggage if necessary
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to guests' questions about the local area and provide recommendations
- Coordinate with the front desk to smoothly guide guests through the check-in process
- Ensure the lobby area is tidy and presentable
- Assist guests with any special requests they might have
- Help resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Hotel Lobby Greeter, Host/Hostess or similar role
- Hands-on experience with hotel management software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
