About the position

We are seeking motivated Loan Officers to join our growing mortgage team in Palmdale, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of loan programs and collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance productivity and client service. Loan Officers will guide clients through the loan application process, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine loan eligibility.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
• Negotiate loan contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Utilize financial software for processing applications and managing client data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services trends and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure timely processing of loans.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of loan origination processes and underwriting standards.
• Familiarity with TILA regulations and Fair Housing laws is essential.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficient in math and financial analysis to assess client needs accurately.
• Experience using financial software for loan processing and management is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
