About the position

The Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer at Valley Lending is responsible for providing personalized mortgage solutions to clients, guiding them through the loan application process, and ensuring a smooth experience from application to closing. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with clients and industry professionals while delivering exceptional service and expert advice on mortgage products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
• Assess clients' financial situations and advise on appropriate mortgage solutions.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Review and analyze financial information, credit reports, and other relevant data.
• Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients and underwriters.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.

Requirements

• Valid Mortgage Loan Officer license in at least one of the following states: Michigan, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Ohio.
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan processing, and underwriting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in mortgage software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
