Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with regulatory requirements for financial transactions, specifically BSA and CIP.
  • Exhibit superior customer service and relationship-building techniques.
  • Participate in developing a teamwork atmosphere with co-workers.
  • Stay informed about company communications and take advantage of appropriate channels.
  • Develop personal skills through ongoing training.
  • Uphold the organization's values relating to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Greet customers and provide superior customer service.
  • Process loans and interview prospective customers for loans.
  • Attend loan closings and assist in coordinating departmental activities.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide information or route calls appropriately.
  • Schedule appointments and perform administrative and clerical duties.
  • File correspondence and maintain records.
  • Resolve routine matters to conserve supervisor's time.
  • Maintain ticklers pertaining to loans and loan exception lists.
  • Obtain credit reports and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Explain, promote, and sell bank products or services.
  • Prepare required reports and files as necessary.
  • Notarize documents and verify port activity and file maintenance.
  • Cross-train in other areas to provide assistance as needed.
  • Report to work regularly and promptly.
  • Maintain established department and Bank policies, procedures, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for financial transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building techniques.
