About the position
As a Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) at Movement Mortgage, you will collaborate closely with the Loan Officer to ensure all aspects of the loan process are efficiently managed and ready for closing. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in mortgage sales, underwriting, or processing, who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes quick turnaround times for underwriting and processing, while also providing opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Loan Officer in preparing and managing loan documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
- Maintain communication with clients and realtors throughout the loan process.
- Adhere to company standards for underwriting and processing timelines.
- Utilize marketing resources to enhance business visibility and growth.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant experience in mortgage processing or underwriting.
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license is required.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in mortgage loan processing.
