About the position

The LMS Administrator role is a hybrid position based in Waukegan, IL, requiring the individual to work three days onsite and two days remotely. The primary responsibility is to manage and support the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that employees are trained on time and that training data is accurately entered into the system. The role involves problem-solving, user support, and organizational skills to handle training assignments and metrics reporting effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assign training in LMS and follow up with users via email/Teams.
  • Gather data and report training metrics to management.
  • Ensure that training data is entered into the LMS accurately.
  • Organize work based on incoming questions and ongoing projects.
  • Support users in understanding training requirements and resolving issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • 4-7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Intermediate Excel experience, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUp.
  • Ability to analyze problems and determine resolutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in learning or training; knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Experience in course content creation or management.
  • Familiarity with training in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in desktop help support.
