About the position
We are seeking an energetic and adaptable nanny-housekeeper to support our family in Delray Beach. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care for our two young boys, ages 2 and 6, while also assisting with light household duties. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage with children and manage household tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for our 2 and 6-year-old boys.
- Create and participate in engaging, educational activities.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap time, and bedtime.
- Accompany and assist the family during outings or children's social events.
- Perform general cleaning and organization, including vacuuming, dusting, and surface cleaning.
- Manage family laundry: washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
- Prepare light meals for the children and maintain kitchen upkeep, including occasional grocery shopping.
Requirements
- Must be able to drive and live locally in or near Delray Beach.
- Flexible schedule with availability for occasional travel and family outings.
- Physically agile, quick-thinking, and proactive in adapting to the needs of young, active children.
- Experience in both childcare and housekeeping.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to provide strong references.
