About the position
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. This live-in position requires caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or those in need of long-term care. Caregivers will live at the home, with access to amenities, and will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those they care for.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or in need of long-term care
- Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and independence
- Administer all medications
Requirements
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed
- Familiarity with direct support techniques
- Proficiency in working with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of childcare practices
- 3 years of caregiving experience
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in behavior management
