About the position
The Live In Caregiver position at Civility Home Care involves providing compassionate personal and companion care to clients in homecare settings. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling options, allowing caregivers to work according to their availability while ensuring high-quality care and adherence to agency standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides care such as bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, and toileting activities as necessary.
- Assists with daily tasks including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and providing transportation to appointments and activities.
- Ensures that service is provided in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
- A current, valid state certification and in good standing preferred.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred.
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile is preferred.
- Empathy for the needs of the client.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
- Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy and respect.
Nice-to-haves
