About The Position
This position is for a Literacy Coach (EES) within the school system. The role involves supporting and improving literacy instruction at the elementary level. The pay rate follows the Teacher Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in related positions. This is a full-time, 10-month, 200-day contract position, starting with the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Postgraduate Professional teaching license with endorsements in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist
- Five years successful experience as a classroom teacher at the elementary level
Nice To Haves
- Kindergarten through grade 5 experience
- Experience in literacy coaching at the elementary level
