About the position
The Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store by overseeing sales activities and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position involves working closely with the store manager to maintain smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage activities in the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store.
- Participate in sales activities including receiving shipments and stocking products.
- Provide excellent customer service in a clean and safe store environment.
- Assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees.
- Instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures.
- Assist the General Manager with store operations, including sales, maintenance, and cash accounting.
Requirements
- One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or
- Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk; or
- One year of lead retail sales work.
- Must meet PA residency requirements.
- Must pass a background investigation.
